Practice News
Mask Requirement
To keep both our patients and staff safe, we require all patients and accompanying support people to wear a mask inside our Practice. Children aged 11 years and under are not required to wear a mask.
Vaccination Certificates
After an individual has received all required COVID-19 vaccine doses a certificate will be available. The certificates only show COVID-19 vaccines approved for use in Australia. Patients who are Australian residents with a current Medicare card will have their vaccinations and immunisations recorded on the Australian Immunisation Register. This is available online through the Australian Immunisation Register: (https://www.servicesaustralia.gov.au/individuals/services/medicare/australian-immunisation-register) or you can access it through your MyGov account.
If you are unable to access proof online, it is advised that you contact the Australian Immunisation Register for the statement to be mailed - 1800 653 809.
Easing of COVID-19 Restrictions
With the easing of restrictions, we would like to assure you that our priority is to continue to provide a safe environment for our patients and staff. We have continued to make changes to the way we operate to try and help minimise risk of infection.
With safety in mind, we are continuing with face-to-face consults, providing telephone and video consults where appropriate.
Consults during COVID-19
Due to the ongoing situation with COVID-19, we are still able to offer standard consults by telephone or video link to help reduce infection risk to both patients and our staff. Please call us to book either a telephone or video consult.
Please note that you may be charged for these appointments at the discretion of your GP, with costs charged in line with our nominated consultation fees.
Screening Questions for ALL Patients
Reception staff will ask the following screening questions to ALL patients who call up for an appointment:
-
Do you have a fever?
-
Do you have any respiratory tract symptoms (e.g. sore throat, cough, shortness of breath)?
-
Have you travelled anywhere outside of WA in the past 21 days?
-
Have you been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19?
